A vacant shopping centre in Ferrybank is due to go under the hammer next month. The Ross Abbey Town Centre, as distinct from the Ferrybank Shopping Centre which is also largely vacant, was once valued at 20 million euro.It now has a reserve price of between 225 and 275 thousand euro at the Allsop Space Auction. The property has 20 units built to shell and core level and is being offered as one lot at the auction on July 4th. Carol Tallon, Managing Director of Buyers Broker, said this would have to be a long term project for any potential investor.
