First, a little bit of background for the uninitiated, Buyers Broker Ltd is a business that was born out of passion. Both myself and my business partner Orla were involved in the property industry (she was working with an auctioneering firm and I was working with a law firm at that time) and we were frustrated by the lack representation and independent advice available for buyers – we could see from the initial viewings stage right through to completion of contracts that the entire property transaction was stacked in favour of the seller, more astonishingly, no one ever questioned it. What started as a vision many years earlier finally became a business reality in 2006. Since then, we have been working with property buyers and investors on a daily basis, finding their ideal home or investment at BMV prices (Below Market Value – get used to reading that here!). Through this blog, we aim to update buyers on the current market weekly by giving relevant, non-product focused information to house hunters and investors.
We will be talking about the reality of the current market, what’s happening “on the ground”, we will be evaluating quick fire sales as they arise. What we want is for buyers to distinguish real value from price hype. We might even throw in a few BMV properties before they hit the open market so pay attention!
